I often write articles meant to help couples get the baby gender that they want through natural methods. I honestly don’t see any reason to spend thousands of dollars for gender selection clinics when you can get fabulous results at home. In the following article, I’ll give you tips and tricks to help you get pregnant with a girl baby instead of a boy baby.

Introducing The Very Strong (But Very Slow) X Sperm Chromosomes: It’s important to understand what really determines the gender that you will conceive. When you have intercourse close to the time that you ovulate, the race is on. The father-to-be’s sperm contains both X and Y chromosomes, but your baby’s gender is determined by which one will get to and merge with your egg first. The X and the Y have separate strengths and weaknesses.

The sperm that will get you a son (Y) is the fastest of the two. If all things are equal, this would be a huge factor. But luckily, these Y’s are also very weak. They can not live for nearly as long as the X sperm can and any little thing will weaken them quickly. On the other hand, the sperm that will get you a girl (X) are slow. But don’t worry because they’re also very hardy. They live for much longer and can shake off a hostile environment much more easily.

How To Time It Right To Get Pregnant With A Girl Baby: So, we’ve established that the boy sperm are weak. Now, we have to use this to our advantage. These guys can’t live for very long, so we time our conception early, to give them time to die off. This is accomplished by conceiving three days before ovulation. Now, this can be a bit tricky because unlike conceiving a boy, you’ll need to know when you are going to ovulate – not when you already have.

So, you’ll need a very accurate ovulation predictor. You likely won’t get good results if you guess or used old fashioned methods that require you to interpret data that could be just plan wrong. I’m talking about trying to gauge your cervical mucus (which can change for various reasons) or charting your temperature (which can rise or fall for reasons not related to ovulation.) I much prefer testing your saliva or your urine with ovulation predictors. I like the saliva because you can reuse them and I’ve had good success with them.

Conceiving Using The Positions That Favor Getting Pregnant With A Girl Baby: Remembering that the boy sperm will likely die off or weaken during a long trip, you’ll want to use sexual positions that get you shallow penetration. This will obviously make the trip longer. Some good positions that will achieve this is the tradition missionary position, female on top using control, or spooning. Any position will work as long as you are conscious of what you are trying to achieve, but the ones I mentioned are among the easiest to use to achieve this.

Acidity Is Your Friend: I know it sounds bad or mean every time I tell you to use variables to encourage the boy sperm to die off, but if you’re trying to conceive a daughter, this is exactly what you want. Another way to do this is by creating a highly acidic vaginal environment that has a high PH reading. Y sperm will wither quickly in a high PH. So obviously, it makes sense to take full advantage of this.

The easiest way to start is to first test how high your PH already is. You can get strips at the health food store that will test this (using your saliva.) Then, you can begin to raise your reading in a couple of different ways. First, you can douche. Now, I know this may seem old fashioned or every unsavory. But, I’m not talking about your mom’s old vinegar and water douching. Modern technology has given us better options and you can now customize your douche recipe to correspond with your reading.

Another way to raise your PH is by going on a diet that is very high in acidic foods and will avoid alkaline foods altogether. This sounds less than desirable, I know. But you aren’t limiting how much you can eat, just what types of foods you can eat. There are list that can take the guess work out of this. And, you only have to do this until you get in the “girl zone.” Plus, if you want faster results, you can combine the douching and the food methods which will often cut the time this process takes in half.
